Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection Review Round-Up
Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection launches today! This collection includes six titles from the Mega Man universe. Players are able to play the four-part saga of Zero that is set hundreds of years after the events of the Mega Man X series. The other two are Mega Man ZX and the ZX Advent, here players are able to choose whether to play as a male or a female hero.
This does sound like a great collection, get to find out what the critics have to say about the game with our Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection review round-up.
Its six excellent Mega Man spin-off games bring with them exactly the kind of gameplay and story my body craves and I’m thrilled at how well they hold up and stand on their own. But it’s the extras, including a new competitive mode with online leaderboards, that really seals the deal. ~Seth Macy
Any one of these games is worth throwing 10 bucks at, much less all six. So long as you can deal with some antiquated visuals (even with the new look) and a bit of exploration-based frustration with the ZX games in particular, you’ll have plenty of rainy days squared away with the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection. ~ Chris Carter
It is a definitive package of lesser known Mega Man games that stand on their own as satisfying and legitimate experiences. If you already like them, this is the best way to own all six or catch up with entries you may have missed; if you grew up with Mega Man 2 and Mega Man X, like I did, you might be surprised just how enjoyable the Zero and ZX games can be. ~Jordan Rudek
The Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection perfectly encapsulates an exciting period in the history of Mega Man games. New mechanics like the Cyber-elf system, to say nothing of overarching hub worlds and a slew of suit upgrades, really help the Zero games stand out in a series that wasn’t exactly known for innovation. ~ Kevin Tucker
The games included in the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection aren’t always perfect, but they’re still a ton of fun to take on thanks to some impressive stories, graphics and a nice level of challenge. Like the previous Legacy Collections for the Classic and X series, it’s something fans will love to rediscover or even discover for the first time and is worth picking up. It’s an odd chapter of Mega Man history, but one worth learning about again. ~Kyle LeClair
And that is is for the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection review round-up. The game offers something that fans would love to rediscover. Surely those new to the game will still definitely enjoy the collection. Go ahead and jump, shoot, dash and wall climb your way in the Mega Man universe with this collection.
