Metro Exodus

New game For Metro Exodus delayed to next year. Deep Silver has made this decision due to the massive scope of the game. If you can remember the devs promised that the next Metro Exodus will be larger than 2033 and Last Light plus all their DLCs combined.

The announcement of Deep Silver is as follows:

“The development of Metro Exodus is progressing well. We are all really excited by what we are seeing. We have been constantly reviewing the game’s progress to ensure that we deliver a product that gamers and fans of the Metro series want and deserve, as well as keeping an eye on announcements from our competitor products. We want everyone to be able to experience what is the most ambitious Metro game to date at its absolute best and therefore we have taken the decision to move the release date to Q1 2019.”

Deep Silver does acknowledge that there will be some people disappointed about the news especially those who are giving the assurance that the extra development time of the game is worth the wait.

Along with the announcement is a small teaser for their upcoming E3 presentation.

“We would also like to take this opportunity to confirm that at E3 in June we will be revealing some brand new gameplay from a never before seen game environment for you to enjoy.”

Earlier this year the parent company of Deep Silver, Koch Media had been brought by THQ Nordic, this could possibly be one of the reasons for the delay by it is hard to say. Deep Silver must put on a really great presentation in E3 to keep fans hyped up for the game.
