Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available on Xbox Series X|S and it is available with the game’s Update 5.

Flight Simulator Update 5 is a huge update that is available when Flight Simulator launches on Xbox Series X|S and it is a huge update.

The update comes with a lot of performance optimizations like CPU performance, virtual reality performance and more.

The key updates included are:

• Up to 30% better FPS as compared to the previous Update
• Removes the tree line popping as draw distance is improved
• Performance is not impacted as much with Glass cockpits and big airports.
• Ray tracing is now available for PC users
• Mouse and keyboard is now available for Xbox users

We can still expect huge updates later this year as well as in 2022. Here’s what we can expect:

• Replay mode release
• Six different world updates in 2022
• Gliders will be introduced
• Live Weather update available in 2022
• The future updates will be made available for PC and Xbox consoles.

We can expect Flight Simulator to be available on the Xbox Cloud Gaming.
