This type of crossover from both games isn’t really something new. If you remember a similar event happened early last year where players were able to earn the layer of armor of Senu’s Father, Dan the Bayek as well as the specialized tool which is the Assassin’s Hood.
With the new event, players are able to upgrade their Assassin’s Hood for a Master Rank.
The Assassin’s Hood allows players to move faster as well as execute critical sneak-attacks that inflicts great damage. And you are able to upgrade it further with the new event.
If you are one of those players who missed the event last year and was not able to get the Assassin’s Hood, well you are in luck. Capcom has announced that the events from before and during Iceborne will be available again up until April 9. This will allow you to earn the previous rewards that you were not able to get, it does include the Assassin’s Hood.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne proves to be popular as the game was able to sell more than 5 million copies around the globe. These events and crossovers are actually one of the many reasons for players to jump into the world of Palicos.
The new Monster Hunter World: Iceborne The Assassin will start on April 10, 2020.
