Need For Speed Heat Launch Trailer Revealed

EA has revealed the launch trailer of Need For Speed Heat as the game is set to launch next month. As we all know, the game does have a night time mode that has illegal races that are high-stakes. The trailer shared gives us a different point of view about this mode.

Halfway throughout the trailer, we get to hear a police officer say, “street racing has no place in public roads”. We also get to see that keeping the peace on public roads is taken seriously by the cops and that they are not afraid to do anything and everything to keep the roads safe. As one of the officers put it, “there is no escape”.

As previously announced, EA said that they are improving the cops as well as their AI during development. The police will play an important role in the game’s risk/reward mechanic. If a player quits early during the night races, they are able to secure their vehicle as well as rewards. If players decide to continue on the race their “heat” level will rise and this will become a multiplier for the rewards which will also make the cops more forceful, in turn, would increase your reputation as a driver.

Need For Speed Heat will be launching on November 8th available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
