New Borderlands 3 Details Shared By Gearbox!
Gearbox was able to reveal a lot of Borderlands 3 details during the game’s reveal at PAX East. We’ve made a simple and easy to understand way for you for all the information given.
Gameplay Trailer
First off, check out the quick trailer shared by Gearbox which lets us catch a glimpse of some of the game’s gameplay.
Release Details
The game is semi-exclusive to the Epic Games Store for PC players. It will then open to “additional PC storefronts” by April 2020. The game is set to launch on September 13th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
New Vault Hunters
Old characters from the previous games will be made available in Borderlands 3 as well as four new Vault Hunters that has been described by 2K below:
- Moze as THE GUNNER: When Moze needs backup, she digistructs her mech–Iron Bear–for a sucker punch of additional firepower.
- Amara as THE SIREN: A confident, capable brawler with the ability to summon ethereal fists, Amara uses her Siren powers to smash her enemies.
- FL4K as THE BEASTMASTER: FL4K lives for the hunt. So do the loyal beasts that follow their master’s every command. Their preferred prey? Unsuspecting bandits, those poor suckers.
- Zane as THE OPERATIVE: Specializing in battlefield gadgetry, Zane is extremely proficient at slipping into combat, creating chaos, and sneaking back out as if he were never there.
Beyond Pandora
Players will be taken to new planets with unique environments. If you purchase the game in the Collector’s Edition it will come with the new physical ‘cloth galaxy map’ which will have the different worlds players are able to travel to.
Different Editions
There will be different editions available for the game. First off, is the Standard Edition which will only come with the base game. The next one is the Deluxe Edition which will have the base game and “5 content packs containing character and weapon skins, trinkets, modes and more!” The third edition available is the Super Deluxe Edition plus the Season Pass.
Lastly, there’s the Diamond Loot Chest Collector’s Edition which will have everything that the Super Deluxe Edition has plus some physical collectibles. This is the most expensive of the bunch. You can check out what it includes below:
Pre-Order Bonus and Season Pass
The Borderlands 3 Season Pass will come with 4 campaign DLC packs that would most possibly be released throughout the year. In addition to this is the exclusive Butt Stallion Cosmetic Pack which comes as a bonus.
For the pre-orders in any of the editions, a Golden Weapon Skin Pack is available as a bonus.
