New Dungeons Featured In Final Fantasy 14 Shadowbringers Trailer
A new trailer has been shared by Square Enix for Final Fantasy 14 Shadowbringers and it features the game’s new dungeons. The video is about 4 minutes long and gives an extensive look at the game’s newly crafted areas. The video is called Dungeons Crawl and you can check that out below:
The Shadowbringers expansion of Final Fantasy 14 is coming with new content as well as some changes to the game. This will continue the story of The Warrior of Light, add new jobs and classes as well as having the Nier Automata crossover.
Along with the video revealed is the post-launch plans for the game. The first on the list is the launch of patch 5.01 which is coming on July 16th and will add the normal version of the Eden Rain. Plus the Lyhe Ghial, a new treasure hunt dungeon as well as the Allagan Tomestone of Phantasmagoria.
Incidentally, Final Fantasy 14 creative director Naoki Yoshida was interviewed by Variety and was asked who his dream collaboration would be for the game. Yoshida answered with Game of Thrones “might be cool”. And that he wanted the collab to happen when all the books are completed. He also said that he is hoping the Final Fantasy 14 series are still running when that time comes.
Final Fantasy 14 Shadowbringers is set to launch on July 2nd and is available for PC and PlayStation 4. Pre-ordering the game will give you early access on June 28.
