New Lord of the Rings Game In The Works

A new Lord of the Rings game by EA is in the works.

ELECTRONIC ARTS MAKES NEW LORD OF THE RINGS GAME

The last few years of games had been underwhelming for EA but that could change with the new license that they acquired.

The Lord of the Rings license has been acquired by EA. They were also able to partner up with Middle-earth Enterprises in order to create a new free-to-play RPG for Android and iOS.

The game is called The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle Earth and it is said to have “immersive storytelling, turn-based combat, deep collection systems, and a wide roster of characters.”

EA adds that the game is “solely inspired by Middle-earth as described in the literary works of J.R.R. Tolkien.”

As of the moment, there is no other information about the game. However, since it is a free-to-play mobile game, we could expect premium currency as well as microtransactions to be available.
