New Lord of the Rings Games Coming

We can expect new Lord of the Rings games in the future.

NEW LORD OF THE RINGS GAMES IN DEVELOPMENT

 

There had been quite a few Lord of the Rings games that already came out, and we could expect more. What we know so far is that there are four that are in development and a fifth one that just recently entered development and we have no information about it.

  Upcoming Lord of the Rings Games  

Just last year, the Embracer Group was able to get the rights to the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, this includes the movie and video game rights.

During the Embracer Group earnings report, it has been revealed that there are five LotR video games being developed by external companies and it will be released within two years.

The Lord of the Rings Video Games in Development:

 
  • The Lord of the Rings: Gollum
  • The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria
  • Weta Workshop LOTR game
  • EA Mobile LOTR game

One of the games on the list the most-anticipated Lord of the Rings: Gollum which had been delayed multiple times. The game was supposed to launch in 2021.

 
 

Aside from the four announced games, a fifth game is said to be in development. We don’t know who is developing the game, but what we know is that it could be one of the subsidiaries of the Embracer Group:
