Blizzard has a new Overwatch PTR patch for its two heroes, Winston and Roadhog. Recently, a huge patch update contains only a few fixes for both heroes.

The game’s principal designer, Geoff Goodman says that “the Roadhog changes overall reduce the power of his hook a bit, but his gun is now more effective when not using the hook.”

There is a decrease of 20% for Roadhog’s Scrap Gun’s spread and is hopefully more effective. The distance of the pull of his Chain Hook now is 3.5 meters as compared to the original 2 meters. Also, this weapon’s cooldown is now 8 seconds instead of the 6 seconds.

For the hero Winston, Goodman says, “WInston’s head hit volume was just abnormally big making him take more damage than he otherwise should.” Because of this, Winston’s critical hit volume was decreased by 15%.

All the changes made are for the characters to be balanced with all the other characters in the game.

This specific build will soon be available in the Public Test Region (PTR)

The game’s PTR is only available for PC but the game is available to be played on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
