Outward Soroboreans DLC Announced

Nine Dots Studios has announced a new DLC for their open-world survival RPG called Outward. This is the Outward Soroboreans DLC! The updates for the game may be slow and far apart, but it does come with so much content that players do come back to the game. This time around the new DLC will be the game’s very first paid DLC and it promises to bring new features.

We have added below what the Soroboreans update would include as posted in its press release.

• Enchantments
  • What’s better than your favorite weapon by your side? What about your favorite weapon with a whole new effect on it? Weapons and Trinkets will now be able to be changed with the new enchanting system.
• Corruption
  • Hungry, thirsty and cold. A terrible situation to be in, but one you often find yourself in while playing. If that wasn’t enough for you now your character can get corrupted. The level of corruption affects you in different ways and if you can’t shake it you could meet an untimely end. The world just got a whole lot scarier.
• New Skills and Status Effects
  • Introducing new skills and status effects for your character. These will help with the new situations you find yourself in with the corruption affects. These add a new element to the game and can completely change your gameplay. Time to start a new character? Do you have enough Travel Rations for this one?

The update will be focusing on the non-playable faction called the Soroborean. This will come with a new region which probably would be the home of the Soroboreans. The game will also come with a new questline which would surely give us more information about this mysterious faction.

Fans of the game voiced out in the game’s official Discord channel that they would be happy to pay for a DLC that will be expanding the game. The developers did reveal that they do have plans for it last year and it is just now that we have gotten any details about it.

The Outward Soroboreans DLC will be launching by this spring and it will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
