A 24 hour extension to play Overwatch Open Beta is available for you!

In a forum post from Blizzard, it has been announced that there will be an extension for the Overwatch Open Beta. Because of the extension the open beta will now end on May 10, 2016 at 10:00 AM PDT in all regions.

The reason behind the extension according to Lylirra, the forum community Manager for the game, is that they wanted to express their gratitude to the “millions of players who’ve logged in so far,” referencing the open beta’s success.

The post maintains that throughout the past week’s run of the open beta, the team was able to have “the opportunity to listen to [players’] thoughts and opinions on the game; make improvements based on…reports in these forums; and collect invaluable data from playing normally.”

The Open Beta for Overwatch started on May 5, 2016 and was supposed to end on May 9, 2016. It is open for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The players of the open beta were able to access all heroes and all 12 maps. Other features that will be available at launch date has also been available at the beta.
