1. Forza Horizon 4


This is possibly the best racing game to arrive this year. Since it has launched, the game was able to receive almost perfect to perfect scores from the critics. The game comes with gorgeous environments that has changing seasons that can affect the gameplay. The graphics are also top-quality, the customization options are also vast and there are different ways for you to progress in the game. There’s something a bit odd with some of the engine sounds though for some cars but Playground Games are already working on the fixes for that.

2. F1 2018


This is the official video adaptation for the 2018 FIA Formula One World Championship and was said to be the best in the series. Offering the most immersive experience to the world of Formula 1. The game has added more classic F1 cars as well as new circuits. Also, its career mode lets players experience what it is like to be a Formula 1 racer both on and off the track. The game did launch with a lot of bugs though but a lot of post-launch fixes has been shared by Codemasters giving the game an “Overwhelmingly Positive” review on Steam.

3. Wreckfest


This game from Bugbear the people responsible for FlatOut 1 and 2 offers a racing game that will let you drive some old banged-up cars. You will have to fix then upgrade and customize these cars. You can drive your creations in the derby arena or compete in the not-so-standard high-speed races. There will be great challenge modes that will give you the chance to drive three wheels, crop harvesters and so much more.

4. Ride 3


If you’d rather drive two wheels instead of four then Ride 3 is your racing game. Offering realistic gameplay with over 230 bike models, 7 categories and 30 brands as well as stunning graphics. Collect and read magazines in order to experience a new career mode. Endless customization options are in your hands with the Livery Editor. Race on 30 faithfully reproduced tracks. Drone scanning and photogrammetry technology were used to create realistic courses.

5. Burnout Paradise Remastered


The last entry for the Burnout series was launched about 10 years ago. Right now EA launched a remastered version of Burnout Paradise. This is a great game, mainly because the original game is also great. The remaster will come with all of the originals main DLC plus a completely new DLC area. Some QOL updates have been shared like being able to try an event without going back to the starting point. Graphical Improvements are also available. The price might seem high for some, but if adding a game unto the series helps then we are all for it.

6. Horizon Chase Turbo


Horizon Chase Turbo offers a great retro arcade racing game that is very easy to learn. The tracks are challenging and making a mistake in the game could result in heavy consequences. You would probably redo a match multiple times to just finish a race but finishing it at the top spot is very rewarding. A lot may know that the game started out as a mobile game. However, the PC port will not feel like that.

7. GRIP Combat Racing


Get to race some flippable cars! Race on the ground, on walls, anywhere and reach speeds up to 767 miles per hour. The game offers 9 power-ups that can be collected mid-race. This will come as weapons, shields or even speed boosts. There is also the Arena Death Match mode where players are able to go against their friends. Split-screen is supported for up to 4 players resulting in some truly awesome couch matches.

8. TT Isle of Man


Featuring the most faithful reproduction of the Snaefell Mountain Course which is one of the hardest courses for the GP Circuit. There will be 38 motorbikes to choose from as well as 25 riders. Players are also able to experience real-life bike behavior that has been attested by real-life TT riders. Complete online with 7 players or you can just enjoy the course in the single-player gameplay. One thing’s for sure, this is the ultimate test for your driving skills.

9. The Crew 2


This is one fast selling game since it lets players race on land, water, and air. Race throughout the United States of America and switch between different vehicles seamlessly. Get to join the four different motorsport families, finish their racing discipline and become familiar with their own culture. When you achieve something in this game it becomes a challenge to other players.

10. Antigraviator


This offers players some full-on futuristic hovercrafts. Set in the year 2210 where intergalactic tournaments for floating cars is made possible because of technological advancements. There will be five different worlds that will come with three tracks each. There will be environmental attacks so stay sharp as you maneuver away from enemy attacks. Get to balance out your Grav customizing it to your liking.
