PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Sold 1 Million Units In Steam

The quickly getting popular Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds sold 1 million early access games in the first 16 days of its release.

Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds is said to be the currently best selling game on Steam. Also, according to Steam, the game has earned around $11 million during the game’s first three days of release. Not only that, the game also received a peak crowd of 89,000 concurrent players. Twitch also reported that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is the third most broadcasted game on their site.

Battlegrounds is an online, multiplayer survival video game. This is a Battle Royale mode that was designed by Brendan Greene a.k.a PlayerUnknown. Actually, Greene is the pioneer of the Battle Royale mode. He was the consultant of the team Daybreak for the Battle Royale mode of H1Z1 King of the Kill.

For the game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Greene partnered with the South Korean developer Bluehole. Bluehole did promise that the early access phase of the game won’t last for more than six months.

No firm launch date was set for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, but once we find out we shall share it with you.
