After being rumored for a long time, Sony finally revealed the information for PlayStation Plus as well as the different tiers it comes with it.

The new PlayStation Plus service is a combination of the PS+ and the PlayStation Now services.

• Includes all benefits from Essential tier
• Up to 400 PS4 and PS5 games that are downloadable to play

Monthly Price: $14.99 / £10.99 / €13.99

Yearly Price: $99.99 / £83.99  €99.99

PlayStation Plus Premium:

• Contains all benefits from the Essential and Extra tiers
• An additional 340 games, including PlayStation, PS2, and PSP games
• Cloud streaming for PS2, PSP, and PS4 games
• Time-limited game trials

The PlayStation Plus Premium costs more than the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. But if you get the yearly subscription it will give your better savings.

The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate comes with more games and perks plus day 1 releases. The PlayStation Plus doesn’t have these perks.

The two subscriptions offer exclusive discounts as well as game trials. The Xbox Game Pass offers select trials on the EA Play exclusive titles.

It is too early to say which one is the best, we would need to first know what exclusives would be available on the PlayStation Plus.
