The Sony PlayStation VR2 is now available and it has launched to mixed reactions. So we have for you some things to think about before making your purchase.
The PlayStation VR2 launched at a whopping $549.99. That is not cheap as the PS5 is less than that price at around $499.99.
If you think that it is worth it to buy an accessory that is more expensive than your console, then it is okay to go ahead and buy it.
If you have tried playing in VR, then you would know that it is an amazing feeling to be inside the game. However, playing in VR won’t reach what the other platforms offer.
The PSVR2 comes with No Man’s Sky, Pavlov VR, and Creed: Rise to Glory, but those games are also available for PC and it is most likely better to play them there.
There will also be some PSVR2 PlayStation-exclusive titles, but it won’t have games ike Half:Life Alyx.
The PSVR2 would need to be connected to the PS5 using a 4.5-meter-long cable. It may seem long enough, however, it may still be possible to get tangled in the cable.
It would be better if there are no physical cables, just like in the Meta Quest 2.
Sony’s PlayStation VR 2 is still nice to have if you own a PS5. It is suited for serious gamers instead of casual gamers.
