To celebrate the game’s 25th anniversary, Capcom paid tribute by saying, “Resident Evil 2 brought survival horror to a whole new level 25 years ago today! Thank you to all of our fans who have enjoyed RE2 over the years, from first-day rookies to seasoned survival horror veterans!”
Resident Evil 2 Remake was able to sell more than 10 million copies and the love for the franchise continues.
