Capcom shared screenshots as well as a new gameplay for Resident Evil 4 Remake and the game looks absolutely gorgeous.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is the remastered version of 2005’s Resident Evil 4 game.
Capcom has seen great success with the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 remakes that they also wanted to release a Resident Evil 4 remake.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is going to use the RE Engine for the next-generation platforms.
During the Sony State of Play 2022 event, Capcom shared a gameplay trailer for the game plus some screenshots.
In Resident Evil 4, a frightening cult has kidnapped the daughter of the President and Leon S. Kennedy has been sent to rescue her.
The same claustrophobic feeling of isolation and fear is highlighted in the remake. However, a huge improvement in the graphics and atmosphere can been seen in the screenshots that were shared.
Since the graphical improvements are best suited for the next-generation platforms, Resident Evil 4 Remake won’t be available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Resident Evil 4 is set to launch on March 24, 2023, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
