You and your party are in a futile quest to stop the coming storm by toppling the new Arkadyan emperor, you will be aided by liars, schemers, and traitors so try and navigate the political landscape carefully.

• Recruit a party of eight to join you on your suicide mission, each of them has their own reasons, ambitions, and perspectives, for joining you. You will have to hold them together because you will need all of their help if you are going to have a chance to succeed.
• The games battle system does not follow the old style of JRPGs that it seeks to emulate, it is built from scratch which wants you to make use of all your characters, each of them has its own relative strength and weaknesses, all designed to participate in the battle simultaneously without character switching and managing of the old JRPG’s.
• Rise of the Third Power’s item management is an evolution of the clunky nature of the older RPG’s item system instead of being able to replace equipment they are now permanent add-ons to your character upgrading it so you won’t get the feeling of buying something and seeing a better item a short while later. Specifically, each character has 3 equipment slots that can be upgraded 8 times, you can find in total 192 upgrades all over the world if you want to find them all.
