S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is now able to resume their development which had been stopped temporarily because of the war that Russia started against Ukraine.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 CONTINUES DEVELOPMENT
GSC Game World recently confirmed that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has continued as it had temporarily stopped back in March when Russia invaded Ukraine.
GSC Game World is located in Kyiv, which is where the initial attacks happened. When that started, the developer posted a video announcement saying that “game development has shifted to the sidelines” because of the challenges that the company is facing as they are trying to support their employees, families and even their country.
The company is able to continue their operations as they were able to relocate to Prague in the Czech Republic.
Notice that the game’s subtitle has changed. It is now “Heart of Chornobyl” from “Heart of Chernobyl”. This is to reflect the transliteration of “Chernobyl” in Ukrainian. Also, pre-orders from Russia for the game had been halted.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl the upcoming survival horror FPS of GSC Game World is set to launch for PC and the Xbox Series on December 8, 2022.
