Scars Above is about the scientist Dr. Kate Ward who is supposed to be on an exploration mission but has gone terribly wrong.
The game has been compared to Returnal since you would have to explore and experiment with weapons to find out which one would be the best to use on enemies.
Dr. Ward will be exploring various locations in the alien world like marshlands, freezing wastelands, and underground taverns. She has to get information from her surroundings like alien materials and artifacts.
While doing research, you will be able to unlock abilities to craft new weapons that you can use against the alien bosses.
Scars Above is now available to play for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
