One day in the distant future a colossal and enigmatic alien structure appeared above earth’s orbit a group of scientists is tasked with investigating the extraterrestrial threat. Scars Above is a sci-fi-themed third-person action-adventure shooter, you are one of the groups of scientists and engineers going on board what humanity has dubbed “The Metahedron” they are part of an organization called The Sentient Contact Assessment and Response Team (SCAR) they are tasked of investigating these kinds of phenomena. Things don’t go exactly as planned however when they are hauled across space to an unknown extrasolar planet. You yourself wake up with no knowledge of what happened, alone in this new hostile environment you must survive and find out what happened to the rest of the team and unravel the mystery of this place.

• Kate is not a trained soldier but you can leverage your expertise as an astronaut and scientist in order to survive, resourcefulness is built in your DNA, use a combination of tools, ranged weapons, devices, consumables, and melee attacks in order to defeat your enemies and exploit their weaknesses.
• Explore a mysterious exoplanet a carefully crafted world inspired by sci-fi classics filled with countless threats, gorgeous landscapes, and ruins hinting at ancient yet advanced civilizations that have long since disappeared. There are different biomes that you can explore such as marshland, freezing wastelands, underground caverns, and alien facilities all with their own dangers.
• Embark on a research journey where you use your abilities as a scientist to extract information from your surroundings and scan artifacts, materials, and creatures so you can find out more about their features, properties, and weaknesses. Most importantly it will allow you to create new gadgets and unlock abilities in Engineering and Xenobiology trees.
