SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays Has Launched

SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays is out now! The game will have players battling it out with other iconic mobile suits from other Gundam series’ in a turn-based tactical gameplay. These types of games are usually launched in Japan but it seems like Bandai Namco realized that the game does have fans in the west and has made the game available for PC through Steam.

If you have played any game from the Super Robot Wars series, then the gameplay of Cross Rays will be familiar to you. The only difference is that with Super Robot is that the game has mechs from several different franchises. In Cross Rays the game only has mecha from the Gundam series.

The Gundam series that will be part of the game are listed below:

• Mobile Suit Gundam Wing
• Mobile Suit Gundam SEED (including Destiny)
• Mobile Suit Gundam 00
• Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans
• SD Gundam GX
• G Generation Series

The mechas from the sequels, movies, and spin-offs are also included. However, fans of the Universal Century won’t get to play with their favorite mechas, but there are still a lot to choose from.

The Japanese release of the game is also available for PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch. These console versions are not available in the west which is a bit strange since it does come with complete English subtitles. Those interested are still able to get the game digitally for these platforms.
