Ubisoft may have confirmed that Xbox Game Pass will get Ubisoft+ in a comment on their UbisoftNL Instagram account.
The much-awaited shoot’em up game Sol Cresta has been delayed last year but it now has a new launch date.
Sol Cresta was delayed because of technical problems. The game was supposed to launch on December 9, 2021. Because of the issues, the developers announced that the game will be launching sometime this 2022.
Platinum games shared the new launch date of the game which is on February 22, 2022. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It is also available on the PS5 through backwards compatibility.
The announcement was made during a developer livestream where the gameplay had been featured as well. Get to watch the video below:
Platinum Games first announced Sol Cresta as an April Fool’s Day joke. But since the announcement got a lot of positive responses from the community, they decided to go with it. Sol Cresta is the official successor to “Moon Cresta” (1980) and “Terra Cresta” (1985).
Platinum Games said that “The idea behind it is not to look at a particular IP or game, but to take the feel of those older games of the 8-bit and 16-bit era and bring back the days when you really had to find the fun and not have all these bells and whistles of today,” they added, “We have the technology now to improve on some of those ideas or maybe do some pillars that weren’t possible back then, but you still have the gameplay and the core mechanics.”
