Rumors are spreading that Sony is planning to acquire either Konami or Capcom.

KONAMI OR CAPCOM COULD BE THE NEXT PURCHASE OF SONY

 

Just recently Sony announced that they were acquiring Bungie for $3.6 billion. According to rumors, they are still planning to buy another developer before the year ends.

Jim Ryan, the CEO of PlayStation confirmed that Sony Entertainment is looking for other developers. One insider claims that Sony is looking specifically for a Japanese developer.

The two developers that are being talked about are Konami and Capcom.

Fueling the rumors is Greg Miller, the host of Kinda Funny Games who said that they are delaying the PS I Love You XOXO podcast because of some “big news”.

If the rumors are true, we could be seeing a deal that could be the same as Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard for $69 billion.
