Tekken 7 has reached a huge milestone, selling more than 10 million copies. This has been announced by Bandai Namco eSports head and Tekken series lead Katsuhiro Harada via Twitter. The numbers given were as of December of last year.

If you have been following the game’s achievements, Harada would post a new artwork of the characters to celebrate. This had been done at the 3 million and 4 million marks. You can check the image below:

And as expected we are also able to see Harada in the image, he is found way in the back. We have a zoomed-in picture available for you.

The celebration apparently is a private party and the guest characters were not included. So, don’t waste your time looking for Akuma, Noctis, or Geese.

Right now, Tekken 7 is at the 15th spot of the best-selling fighting games of all time. The top seller of the series is still Tekken 3, selling more than 8.5 million copies since it launched and is right now on the 7th spot. If you are curious as to what game holds the top spot, it is none other than Super Smash Bros. Ultimate having sold more than 17.68 million copies.

You have to see for yourself as to why the game is so popular. The game is available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
