The Game Awards 2019 had just wrapped up! This gave honor to the best videogames that launched this year as well as the people behind them. The event was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
The top prize for the event is The Game of Year Award and the game that was victorious in bagging this was FromSoftware’s Sekiro Shadows Die Twice. The games that were in the running for the coveted award were Death Stranding, Resident Evil 2, The Outer Worlds, Control and more.
We have listed for you the big winners of The Game Awards 2019 below:
Game of the Year
Games for Impact
Although Death Stranding was not able to win the GOTY it did bag the awards for Best Game Direction and Best Score & Music. League of Legends was able to receive the Best Esports Game Award. Danny “Zonic” Sorensen was awarded this year’s Best Esports Coach. Shroud won Content Creator of the Year.
Last year the Game of the Year Award went to God of War. It had been a sure win for God of War that year. This year though the nominated games were so different from each other, that guessing who will win was hard.
