The Lord of the Rings: Gollum The Making Video Now Available

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is set to launch in just a few days but before that, get to watch the making of the game video.

THE MAKING OF THE LORD OF THE RINGS GOLLUM

Nacon released a 4-minute ‘the making of video’ for the Lord of the Rings: Gollum last May 18th on their YouTube channel.

In the video, we get to see the developers talk about the process of creating Gollum as well as the game. They also talk about the different complex traits that they integrated into the game.

The appearance of Gollum is different from what we know from the Gollum in movies. The physique may be similar to the one in the movies but changes were made to the face.

PRELOADING LORD OF THE RINGS GOLLUM IS NOW AVAILABLE

The Lord of the Rings Gollum is set to launch on May 25, 2023. Pre-loads for the game are now available.

There might also be an update available at the launch date which might require an additional download.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is set to launch for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. A Nintendo Switch version may also be available at a later date, but no specific date was given.

The pre-load size of PlayStation 4 is 30.5 GB while the pre-load size of the PlayStation 5 is smaller at 18.7 GB.

The PlayStation 5 size was able to be significantly smaller because of the new Kraken compression technology.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will have you playing as Gollum which is different from what we know from the movies and books.

The Lord of the Rings Gollum is set in the same world as Amazon Studio’s “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”.

Gollum who was once the hobbit Smeagol turns into Gollum because of the Ring of Power.

As Gollum, you are rather weak so you would have to hide in the shadows in order to survive.

Players are able to choose between Gollum’s two sides: the hobbit Smeagol or the evil side who is addicted to the Ring.
