The Outer Worlds System Requirements Announced

Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming sci-fi RPG, The Outer Worlds will be launching next week. The game’s system requirements have been shared, and you don’t really have to worry since you don’t need any major upgrades for it.
The system requirements have been revealed through the game’s official forums by Social Media Manager ‘Shyla’. For the minimum system requirements, players would just need a Core i3 processor, a GTX 650 Ti and 4GB RAM. The recommended settings would need a Core i7-770K, GTX 1060 6GB, and 8GB RAM.
You can take a look at the complete system requirements below:
MINIMUM
- OS: Windows 7 (SP1) 64bit
- CPU: Intel Core i3-3225 or AMD Phenom II X6 1100T
- RAM: 4GB
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 650 Ti or AMD HD 7850
- HDD Space: 40GB
RECOMMENDED
- OS: Windows 10 64bit
- CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K or Ryzen 5 1600
- RAM: 8GB
- GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or Radeon RX 470
- HDD Space: 40GB
Only needing 40GB of space needed is a relief as compared to upcoming games that need three times larger than that. Well, Obsidian did say that The Outer Worlds will be “a smaller, more tightly controlled game than a giant sandbox open world”, this could explain the game’s small install size.
The small install size should not catch you off guard as you can still expect 30-40 hours of gameplay. Replayability has also been worked on by Obsidian, so players would surely get more out of the game.
The Outer Worlds is set to launch on October 25th available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will be available on the Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store for PC. It will be available on Steam but only after a year.
