We really find it impressive that Grand Theft Auto 5 won an award. It has been 6 years since the game was launched, and it is well deserved. It is true that the game was able to generate revenue for Rockstar Games as well as Valve, it was even one of the top revenue generators for Steam in 2019.
For sure 2020 will be filled with even more amazing releases. This will be the year that Cyberpunk 2077 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be launching, so the GOTY award contenders are surely interesting.
Was Sekiro Shadows Die Twice your choice for GOTY for 2019? Or do you think a different game deserves that title? Share with us your thoughts in the comments below.
