World of Warcraft Battle of Azeroth is getting its last major content today. The update is called Visions of N’zoth and it comes with new features as well as a new story content.

Queen Azshara has been defeated and the Old God N’zoth has been set free. He, in turn, let loose his legion of shadowy creatures to go after Azeroth. This is the plot that the new updated comes with, it will have new quests as well as new end-game content. Get to see what the Visions of N’zoth are all about with the official survival guide below:

NEW RACES

There are two new races coming which are Vulpera and Mechagnomes. In order to unlock Vulpera, Horde players will have to complete the Vol’dun level-up storyline. To open Mechagnomes, the Alliance players should level up with the Rustbolt Resistance and complete the Mechagon storyline.

When players unlock the new races, they are rewarded with a new mount. Also, when their Vulpera or Mechagnome has been leveled up from 20 to 110, a special Heritage Armor transmogrification set will be made available.

NEW ASSAULTS ON TITAN FACILITIES

For the end-game, there will be new Assaults on Titan facilities in Uldum as well as in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. To get to this, players must first finish some specific objectives then eliminate the tough lieutenant that will reward you with powerful gear as well as the Vessel of Horrific Visions.

HORRIFIC VISIONS

Horrific Visions are instances where players are able to battle with different enemies with increasing difficulty. This will come with special mechanics and up to 5 players are allowed. To enter players must complete the new Assaults on Titan facilities and get Vessels of Horrific Visions. Completing the Horrific Visions will let players earn fragments of N’zoth’s corruption. You can also exchange these fragments for greater rewards by going to Slithus and look for Mother and Magni.

When you are inside the Horrific Visions, there are bonus areas where Faceless Masks are available. Wearing the mask will make Horrific Visions even harder but also grants better rewards.

WRATHION RETURNS

The new update will see the return of Wrathion. He can help players create a new upgradable legendary cloak. This new cloak will be starting out at Rank 1 at item level 470. When you rank this up, its stats will be increased which will add new unique effects. The cloak can be used inside the Horrific Visions which will help you get greater rewards.

NEW GEAR STAT AND ESSENCES

A new stat has been made available to the gear that you will be acquiring in the new content. The stat is called Corruption. This is able to cause stacking side effects, the higher your total Corruption stat reaches. The effects can range from slowing down when taking in damage to having some random attacks from monsters from the void. You can counter the negative effects of Corruption by using the Legendary Cloak or using the new Essences. Essences can be picked up from the new Assaults, Horrific Visions and the Ny’alotha raid.

OTHER CHANGES AND NEW CONTENT

The new storyline quest will have the Alliance and Horde come to a peace treaty by talking on the N’zoth and his forces together. Other changes that we will get to see include the visual update and redesign of the Deepend Gorge battleground and the rebuilt Auction House. Those who were able to pre-order Shadowlands are able to create Death Knights from unlocked Allied Races and Pandaren.

The new update is huge and Blizzard has more to share! We can expect to hear new information about the new PVP season, the new 12-boss raid called the ‘Ny’alotha The Walking City’, the mythic Keystone Dungeons and many more.
