Bluehole Studios say that a PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds PS4 version could be possible. This announcement implies that the game won’t be an Xbox One exclusive. During the E3 2017 conference, it was revealed that the greatly known Steam game will be coming to Xbox One. Nothing was said about PlayStation in the announcement so it was assumed that it will be an Xbox One exclusive.

The report was found in Daily Mail, a UK publication which states:

“We also found out that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is NOT coming to PS4 but will instead remain an Xbox One exclusive.”

The statement to GameInformer from Bluehole Studios says that:

“We’re excited to announce that PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS is coming to Xbox One. We’re always looking at various platforms to potentially introduce our game, but have nothing further to announce at this time.”

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds releases on Xbox One Preview later this year and a full release is expected in 2018. The game has reached a total of 4 million copies that were sold in just 13 weeks since its launch as an Early Access on Steam.
