Next in line is the best expansion from Triumph Studios’ fantasy based strategy game, Age of Wonders III: Golden Realms. This expansion marks the return of the Halfling race with a new story campaign, new units, spells and items, advanced building mechanics, new exotic maps, and other new features. This is a DLC and you would need the base game in order to play it.
At the number 8 spot, we have an 80’s classic remake – Chaos Reborn. This is a turn-based strategy game where wizards with powerful spells work to summon mystical creatures to the battlefield while fighting for domination over the empire. There are a lot of board game and card game elements that have been integrated into the game, making this a really great game for most players.
Continuing on we have Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II – Chaos Rising on number 7. This continuation of Dawn of War takes its players to a long lost ice planet which had reappeared from the Warp. The game offers exciting tactical, turn-based combat, coupled with an intense near-and-personal action sequence. Given all these, you will certainly not doubt why this game is said to be a worthy successor to the critically acclaimed game of the 90’s.
The next game is the expansion of Civilization 5 called the Brave New World. The game polishes up as one of the best strategy games of all time. It has improved depth and replayability, reworked gameplay mechanics, new civilizations, units and buildings, as well as a whole lot more. This is one title that every strategy fan needs to have in their library. This is a downloadable content so the base game is needed in order to play this game.

Take control of a nation and lead them through the centuries, building them into a powerful global empire. Experience real exploration, trade, war and diplomacy in a deeply tactical and strategic turn-based gameplay. It is now time to create your very own story!
The number 3 spot belongs to the fourth expansion for Crusader Kings 2 – The Old Gods. The time for greatness has come, you loot the Viking way in this great medieval strategy outing. Play as a pagan chief leading a tribe who is always starving for war; or you can also play as a pagan chief who tries to restore his old religion to prominence.
