Who has not heard about, even from far away, the famous Dark Souls series? It is adored by all hardcore gamers around the world. Indeed the Dark Souls games among the most difficult in the world and the third one out of the series is no exception.
Dark Souls 3 is a heroic fantasy RPG that takes place in the Kingdom of Lothric. The third part of the series, Dark Souls 3 is, in fact, the real continuation of the first game. Driven by an old prophecy that the fire is dying and announcements for the arrival of lords without a throne.
You have to progress to the great wall of Lothric by confronting the living dead, dragons and ghastly monstrosities to be able to follow the main plot of the game.
And as in any good self-respecting Dark Souls player, you will mostly have to be very cautious to avoid dying in front of every enemy.
Because as said above, this is Dark Souls. If you are not prepared to enter this universe, you must simply go on your separate way, if you do not like difficulties or losing or repeating loops it would be better if you turn away now, and not attempt to discover the Dark Souls series.
The games that we selected are based on different RPG Heroic Fantasy games that closely resemble Dark Souls 3.
In terms of difficulty is hard to find a game that is like Dark Souls 3. If we would have to choose, it would be games like BloodBorne, The Witcher 3 or Shadow of Mordor. But these games are less difficult. BloodBorne is probably the closest similar game out of the list, but never the less it is much easier to advance in BloodBorne than in Dark Souls 3.
The common point that we will concentrate on is the RPG, Heroic Fantasy theme. Mainly because in terms of difficulty, it is very unlikely to find a game comparable to the Dark Souls series.
The closest games are The Witcher 3, BloodBorne, Shadow of Mordor and also Dragon’s Dogma or Risen 3.

I think that the games follow an RPG gameline so they can follow the gameplay of Dark Souls 3. Personally I haven’t prove them most, but witcher is a really great serie
I can say Dark souls and The Witcher are kind of common on the fantasy matter and also because it’s a kind of strategy and puzzle game even when it’s not directly showed that way. for the others I don’t really played so.
Now that there, is a good looking list of games! I still never finished Witcher, or the Dark Souls 3 DLC
VVVVVV and the last level of Cave Story are also decent contenders for ‘ridiculously difficult’ though V happens to be a platform avoidance game more than an RPG. What also makes this list difficult is the extremely dense and difficult to piece together story, which the Dark Souls games show rather than tell 90% of the time.
