In Deus Ex Mankind Divided, augmented humans are now recognized as dangerous. The possibility of replacing some body parts to increase physical or mental abilities is now attainable, and some have taken the plunge by paying a fortune. They choose to be augmented either for pleasure or simply out of necessity. Unfortunately, augmented humans quickly become the target of ordinary humans and are now treated as outcasts.
Adam Jensen has become an experienced agent who will have to carry out his missions in a world where augmented humans no longer are welcomed. He himself is an augmented human that has many weapons as well as state of the art equipment. You can use this to dismantle a vast global conspiracy and to discover what happened to his wife when she was about to announce a major discovery on the possibility of making human augmentation accessible to all.
The games that we selected are based on different games that closely resemble Deus Ex Mankind Divided.
In Deus Ex Mankind Divided, you will be placed in the shoes of the main hero Adam Jansen. After being attacked with his wife, who is a researcher in human augmentation technology, he has suffered so much damage that when he was rescued, the only way to save his life is to patch him up with enhanced military grade equipment. This made him an overly capable agent with his augmented abilities to use in order to intervene and solve the work entrusted to him.
The first game that comes to mind when I hear Deus Ex Mankind Divided is Remember Me. Beyond the memory aspect, there is this augmented side that is present in the game. Besides Remember Me and the augmented part, my choice of games are Mass Effect 2, The Division, Watch Dogs and even Hitman.
But it is very difficult to make a choice on a specific game because for me Deus Ex is totally different and is really a universe apart.
