In this new installment of the long running series of Tomb Raider, Lara Croft will find herself stranded on an island with several people from her team.

She will have to fight pirates as well as to let her entire team to escape from the island.

Between infiltration and survival, Rise of the Tomb Raider is an excellent game where the main plot will take you into a legendary millennium dotted with quests and side missions where you can demonstrate mastery and logic to progress.

Throughout your progression you will encounter camps allowing you to save your progress, much like Dark Souls 3 or STYX, you will also be able to carry out repairs or upgrades of your weapons or skills like in Sacred 3 or Metro 2033.

Unlike several games like The Witcher 3, Lost Planet 3 and others where you can set aside the main mission and undertake side quests and battle multiple monsters, Rise of the Tomb Raider will only give you access to certain portions of the island. You will have the access to other side quests in the game.

Secondary quests are related to your progress on the main quest. As long as you do not move forward with the story line, you will not be able to unlock other areas as well as other tasks to perform.

The world of Rise of the Tomb Raider is not open. When you walk through unlocked areas, you will be able to reach it’s limits and can’t go any farther.
