The Division is a third-person action-RPG game set in an open world created by Ubisoft. The appeal of Tom Clancy’s The Division is that you can play it as an online multiplayer as well as play missions solo.
The game takes place in New York City where a smallpox pandemic causes millions of deaths and humanity takes refuge in fear. The Division project is activated and inactive agents are called in combat to find the cause of this deadly epidemic.
Solo or group officers are there to fight criminals and restore order in Manhattan.
The games that we selected are based on different survival and exploration game elements that closely resemble that of The Division.
You will have a base as well as areas where you can rest as well as reload ammo or do anything that is necessary for your game’s progression.
Unlike some games like Arma 3 or Gears of Wars 4, The Division takes place exclusively in New York City and more specifically in Manhattan. You are not able to leave this area, but rest assured that it is enough to give a good player experience.
Contrary to the Last of Us or Fallout 4, it is not a game of survival nor is it a survival horror game. Although the disease could have been an important factor to add as an element of risk for infection, however, there are no monster or any mutants to attack you.
That is my personal opinion on that. At no time did I feel that it was possible to be contaminated and to die of it, but that is just in my opinion.
The games that come closest to a game like The Division are games like Watch Dogs 2 or Saints Row 4 where it is possible to execute side quests and advance into the main plot.
Most of the time you have a base allowing you to acquire or upgrade your weapons and equipment. This equipment is collected during your progress in the game. These can either be equipped directly or after they have been improved.
In each game, you will need to take on missions or level bosses in order for you to progress towards the development of the adventure.

it’s a good list, i’d say it kinda reminds me of diablo 2 in a way, where you’re tryinf to level up and get gear and then in multiplayer you have to watch out for others.
