Wasteland 3 co-op mode is a feature of the franchise that many are excited about! You will get to play with a friend in this mode and take on the Colorado wastelands starting on August 28. The game is available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
How many players does Wasteland 3 co-op support?
The co-op mode is only able to support two players and is available the whole entire gameplay.
How do players split up a party of rangers?
In the singleplayer mode, you get to control a party of six Rangers. In co-op the total number is still six but with you and your friend included.
You are still able to split up the party to finish separate duties (one party could be engaged in a fight while the other is making purchases).
Do both players need to own the game to play Wasteland 3 co-op?
Yes, each of you would need to won the game and should be on the same platforms. Cross-platform (e.g. PC to consoles and vice versa) is not available right now.
How do I start Wasteland 3 co-op?
In order to play co-op, each player must own a copy of the game. To do this, you just need to go to the Multiplayer menu and send your friend an invite.
What happens to my saved progress?
Saves are stored in your own systems which means the next time you play, you can continue alone or you can wait for your friend to play together once more.
