The recently concluded PAX East 2017 featured 40 minutes of Prey gameplay. The video came from YouTuber Izuniy which has major spoilers. So, you have been warned and if you are totally okay with it, the video is down below and keep on reading.

The video is quite long at 40 minutes. It will show you some game exploration as well as some combat elements. It will also show the interaction of the players with anything from their environment like computer chairs, garbage cans, or lamps. Watch the video below:

You will get to play as the protagonist Morgan Yu who is half German and half Chinese. You are “the subject of morally dubious experiments designed to improve the human race,” as said in the game’s description. After a very long sleep, Yu awakens aboard the ship Talos I and the year is 2032. Talos I has a lot of secrets for Yu to uncover and alien life forms to confront. The weapons that you can use in the game are found all around you in the space station. You just have to be creative plus the addition of your mind-bending abilities, you will be able to secure for yourself an amazing action-packed combat.

Prey releases on May 5, 2017, and is available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The Prey “Mimic Matter” ability was introduced in a video teaser by Bethesda. Players are able to become whatever inanimate object that is in their surroundings. Some examples of these are mugs, pizza boxes, or even a pair of headphones.
