The game is set 12 years before the events of the first Gears game! Players would have to lead their squad to defeat Ukkon, the leader of the Locust army who is capable of creating terrifying monsters.
Step into the shoes of Gabe Diaz, the father of Kate Diaz from Gears of War 5. As Gabe, you will be rescuing and building troops in the game’s immersive and character-driven storyline.
Ready up your troops and upgrade their skills as well as equip them with the items that you get during your missions. Get to customize both your character’s armor and weapons.
Expect fast and aggressive gameplay as you command your squad in the turn-based battles. The action is surely intense as your enemies will come at you with an unstoppable force! The boss battles are massive with huge bosses that can tower over you.
Offering a single-player gameplay with a campaign mode that could last up to 40 hours long. There will be no microtransaction available and everything can be earned in-game.
Gears Tactics will be launching on April 28, 2020, and is available for PC first with an Xbox One launch coming after. The pre-purchase bonus will come with the Thrashball Cole character pack including the Thrashball armor set with rare abilities and the Augustus Cole recruit.
