Where To Look For The Mysterious Destiny 2 Merchant Xur!
The Destiny 2 merchant Xur is back this 2018 and this will be the very first appearance for Xur this year. Xur is a mysterious merchant that is tentacle-faced. He sells Exotic weapons and gear that can be purchased using Legendary shards.

As mentioned above Xur does carry some exotic weapons and gear. Two special things that he carries though are the Three of Coins as well as the Fated Engrams. The Three of Coins will give the player a better chance of getting exotics however it is said to be bugged right now, so purchasing it is not recommendable right now. For the Fated Engrams, it will give the player an Exotic that he doesn’t already have if it is working correctly.
Xur only available up until January 9 and will change locations weekly. Right now he is located in Io. The player must spawn in at the Giant’s Scar Landing Zone then use your sparrow and find your way up a hill and he can be found inside the cave. This is according to GameSpot.
