Microsoft will be shifting their development cycle after analyzing previous Windows releases.

WINDOWS 11 NEW DEVELOPMENT CYCLE

 

The Windows 11 development cycle will be altered after learning a few things from the cycle of Windows 10.

Microsoft will be going back to the usual three-year schedule for the major feature updates of Windows 11.

We will get to see more minor feature updates with this plan which could reach up to four times a year.

The updates are tested in the Insider program and when it is ready to be released will be called “Moments”.

The first of the “Moments” will be available by early 2023. The next major feature update for Windows 11 will be available in 2024.
