Wolfenstein Youngblood Details Revealed

Wolfenstein Youngblood had a great E3 featuring a new trailer as well as a chance for some hands-on time to play it. Executive Producer Machine Gamer Jerk Gustafsson shared some details about the game in the interview with VentureBeat.
Gustafsson said that the production time for the game is hard despite the fact that this is their biggest game as of now. If one tries to “play through everything” in the game, it would take about 25 to 30 hours. To compare with the previous game, that is actually double the amount of time. Also, since the game is actually non-linear, the developers are able to add more activities and missions without affecting the main storyline.
Get to watch the E3 trailer of Wolfenstein Youngblood below:
For the game’s co-op, Gustafsson said that the two players actually make sense because Anya was pregnant with twins. Also, the game offers stealth mechanics that are perfect for co-op like having one of the girls get attention and the other stays in the shadows for the kill. Not all enemies can be taken down this way though, especially the “heavily-armed” ones.
It also looks like the sisters won’t have unique abilities specific to the character. The co-op is described as “a lot more like Halo co-op than Destiny co-op.” Having the same abilities doesn’t mean that they have the same personalities. They are sisters after all, little banters are bound to happen.
Wolfenstein Youngblood will be launching on July 26 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
