World of Warcraft Shadowlands Expansion Revealed!
During BlizzCon 2019, Ion Hazzikostas, the game director of World of Warcraft talked about the future of the MMO. He was able to announce a brand new expansion coming to the game.
The newest World of Warcraft expansion is called the Shadowlands and will take players to the afterlife of the Warcraft universe. We get to see all these in the game’s announcement trailer. It shows Sylvanas fighting with the Lich King and eventually destroying the Helm of Domination, creating a path to the Shadowlands.

The upcoming adventure will be in the Shadowlands and players are forced to restore the balance of the different factions. They should also deal with what the Sylvanas and The Jailer are planning.

The expansion Shadowlands will come with new zones like the Valkyr homeland of Kyrian, the end-game zone The Maw, plus the new player hub called the Oribos. Each of these zones are available for every faction and it will reward players with new gear that are faction-specific as well as new special abilities.
Blizzard will be lowering the level cap for this expansion to go. Those who are currently at the max level of 20 will be instantly turned to 50. For new characters, they will be starting out the game in the new starter zone which will introduce the quest systems as well as the combat more effectively. Death Knight class will also be available to all the races that will be available during the expansion’s launch. World of Warcraft Shadowlands will launch next year.
