The world is on fire, the zombie apocalypse is raging on, but humanity still hasn’t lost the fight, World War Z is a co-op zombie FPS game made by Saber Interactive Inc. inspired by the book and movie of the same name. Survive the endless horde with 3 other friends in co-op mode or with AI teammates in single-player mode. Finish story missions taking place all over the world, the New York, Jerusalem, Moscow, Tokyo, Marseille, Rome, and Kamchatka, with most locations following a different set of four survivors.

• World War Z introduces new characters as well as fan favorites of the old game, Pick between 7 unique classes Exterminator, Drone master, Hellraiser, Slasher, Gunslinger, Medic, and Fixer.
• With each place you visit in the campaign, you will be able to play as a different set of four survivors, but in multiplayer you will be able to choose any survivor you want to play as in total there are 24 different survivors you can choose from, survivors are purely for aesthetic purposes only they all have the same stats and carry the same gear radio, knife, and backpack.
• Competitive Multiplayer: if you are sick of just fighting zombies the Player vs Player vs Zombie game mode might be for you, two teams of players compete against each other to complete specific objectives like capturing a hill, raiding and scavenging, hunting for vaccines, etc. whilst also fending off the unending horde of zombies and the enemy team as well.

World War Z doesn’t hide its intentions. It’s not a layered, in-depth survival sim. It doesn’t try to be anything it’s not. It’s built around the horde effect, which it nails. They’re like train wrecks: you can’t stop watching them—except the train is headed straight for you.

It’s actually surprising just how good World War Z is. Before launch, it looked like a derivative affair that would offer a small amount of fun and then be forgotten. And while it is derivative to a degree, it stands on its own two feet very well. It could also have legs if its developer, Saber Interactive, clears up its issues and delivers quality post-launch content.

The Game of the Year Edition is the definitive edition of World War Z it includes the base game and the GOTY pack which contains in it a plethora of once previously sold and free DLCs that has items, cosmetics, and game modes attacked to them.

World War Z Upgrade to Aftermath

This DLC updates your Edition of World War Z into the pseudo-sequel for World War Z, World War Z Aftermath upgrades your game entirely while still using the same client as the original game it adds entirely new features and content to the game.

• The New story campaigns are a continuation of the previous ones, some of them you will play as new characters and you will be able to explore new places specifically in Europe.
• With the upgrade comes new graphical options 4K and 60 FPS support for those who can achieve it and a new zombie swarm engine allowing for more zombies to be present at the screen at once.
• A better new and improved Progression system for all Classes and a new Vanguard Class exclusive to Aftermath, and finally an option to play the game from a first-person perspective.
